I’ve known I wanted to work with computers as a profession since I was 13 years old. I found out about Linux while I was still in high school and I’ve been using it where ever and whenever it makes sense since 1999.

I enjoy coding and system administration. My favorite tools are Git, Ansible and Docker. My favorite type of projects are software infrastructure projects. I enjoy setting up the systems and tooling needed to ease the task of writing and deploying software, managing servers and services, or writing custom libraries for specific business needs.

It makes me happy when I can automate repetitive tasks, especially if it relieves someone of their drudge work. I also enjoy a challenge that engages me in the creative process of designing new or replacement systems.
